Amazing food, scenery, comfort in the middle of nowhere. The resort is comprised of 6 cabins/rooms on an extremely isolated motu that is about a 30 minute speedboat ride from the main airport (which itself is a 5 hour flight from Honolulu). You get all the expected benefits from being so isolated - amazing snorkeling all to yourself, complete privacy, absolutely stunning scenery - as well as completely unexpected treats (world class dining from your host, Susanne Bikendrik; a supremely comfortable room with private patio, free water and soft drinks and unbelievable views; and, most importantly, fascinating conversation with Susanne. She is a true Renaissance woman and is a pleasure to talk with. Greatly exceeded my expectations! Highly recommend.

The place is calm and simple in a captivating way, surrounded by lush gardens and a completely private sea — where you feel that the place is yours alone. The accommodation is upscale, and the attention to detail is evident in every corner, and this is due to Suzie, who manages the place with a refined sense. Her food is truly delicious, and her cooking is among the best I have ever experienced.
What adds a special flavor to the experience is Susie herself and the amazing stories she tells. One evening with her is enough to leave with an unforgettable impression.
